Have you ever just sat and watched your pets or even wildlife and regardless of how long you observe them, you are completely fascinated? I can spend hours watching animals without ever feeling bored. This fascination is what led me to becoming a veterinarian. As a veterinarian, I can use my keen observation and knowledge to present all of the diagnostic and treatment options to a pet owner so together we can decide what the best option is for their pet. Keeping pets happy and healthy is my main priority.
I graduated in 1997 from the University of Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. After working for 3 years as a Veterinarian in Bucharest in a small animal practice, I came to the United States in 2000 and finished the ECFVG program at Iowa State University to obtain my U.S Veterinary license. I have a special interest in holistic medicine and am certified for Acupuncture. I also utilize herbal prescriptions for my patients. I live with my husband, my wonderful daughter, my mother in law, and we have a fish tank.
