I'm looking for an animal hospital for my senior dogs. We moved here in late November from New Jersey where I had a wonderful hospital for the dogs. They offered 24 hour care 7days a week, Do you have similar hours? Two of my dogs have heart conditions and one needs amniosyntesis biweekly.

For anyone new to the area, I highly recommend March Animal Hospital. Dr. March took excellent care of Licorice and Oreo (cocker spaniels), handling many emergencies for us. Despite the number of visits and the number of operations, Licorice and Oreo loved to visit there. Since Licorice & Oreo passed away, I now bring my 3 adopted cocker spaniels (Damion, Lilly and Lucy)to the clinic, thankfully, not as often. I've seen alot of great new staff added as the clinic has grown, but there is still that personal touch that both the dogs and I appreciate.

Desi (Miniature poodle-2 yrs old-Female) is a serous scratcher of her face, ears and body,-Very vigorous. Approximately 200-300 RPM's (revolutions per minute.) Have shampoo'd her with a pet shampoo from Pet smart on Thursday (yesterday), but scratching continues. Worst of scratching occurs at night-so we are not sleeping well. She is so vigorous that it is noisy and wakes us up. Is there some shampoo you would recommend to reduce her itchiness and make her more comfortable? I would just like to say thank you to Lisa Whetstone. The most amazing/caring vet I have ever met. She has been so kind to me and treated my dogs with nothing but love and care. I called her one night frantic because my 4 year old dog was very sick. Dr. Whetstone had never met me before (she was a referral) and yet she called me back almost immediately, at night, when she was off work, and guided me with what I needed to do. She also spoke with me about 3 other times the following night, on her personal time! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a GREAT, reasonably priced vet!
