Dr. Craig Hummel My Bachelor's Degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine were completed at Purdue University (Go Boilers!). I worked at a very busy and large practice in the westen suburbs before finding my home at March Animal Hospital. My wife is also a Veterinarian in the St. Charles area. We are the proud parents of a 2 year old boy (Willem), and are happily awaiting a new as yet unnamed addition to our family. We have lots of "furry and scaly kids" including our dog, Scoobie, cat Anna, and a small herd of fish...or is that a school! My veterinary interests are varied but surgery is very rewarding and enjoyable for me. When I am not working, I love to travel, watch movies and enjoy any outdoor activities including running, camping and just relaxing in the sun. |

Dr Silvana Beloiu I graduated in 1997 from the University of Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. I worked for 3 years as a Veterinarian in Bucharest in a small animal practice. I came to the United States in 2000 and finished the ECFVG program at IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY and obtained my U.S Veterinary license. In the meantime I started a family, including my husband Alex, my stepson Michael (12), and daughter Melissa (4). I have approximately 5000 pets, which just so happen to be owned by all of you! I love animals and working with them is really exciting for me. I will try to do my best in achieving a very good quality of care for all animals I will see at our hospital. I wish my best to all my clients and patients. |
Dr. Lisa Whetstone
Dr. Whetstone is a 1981 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, where she also spent her undergraduate years majoring in Microbiology. She has practiced in the Northwest suburbs since her graduation and cherishes the relationships that she develops with clients and their pets....like extended family.
A native of Peoria, she has lived in Lake Zurich since 1983 with her husband Don of 26 years, and two daughters, Alyssa (18) & Kristin (20), who both attend Illinois State University. A house full of furry friends rounds out the Whetsone clan...Kali, Libby, Trixie, Dolce, Fluffy, and Rodman.
She is very excited about seeing her longtime friends and making many more at her new "home"....March Animal Hospital. |
